make sure you:
Disable windows messenger (xp)
Run a spyware checker.

i hate that messanger shit. i am playing eq or working on something and bam. popup kills the program. f*****s. i deleted that shit quick after xp was installed

MSN Messenger works fine without the popups you just need to disable Messenger service in your setup and you can use MSN just fine.....
