Honestly, the arena game was over at season 2.
Any serious players that got glad in season 1 quit after that or after S2.
Sadly all you get lately is WD, PMRs & Euros.

They should really lower the requirements to get some items like some items need you to have a 1800+ ratting.

I'm kind of disapointed that the season 4 gear will look the same for a few classes. All the cloth classes will have the same armor, just different colors. Same with mail/leather/plate. I guess I understand why though, the season gear matches the current pve gear, and since there's no T7 yet, they match it with sunwell. Kind of sucks that, for example, mages/locks/priests will all look the same, just colored differently, like AQ40 stuff :/

I don't mind PR for the gear, but they need to sort out class balances/win trading and all the people in 1500/1600 in full S3.

True, they are at least fixing que-dodging next patch, if you don't join the match when it pops it's going to count as a loss for you.

i think its a good thing, if your good enough to get it then youll have it, its not like every other char will have it, and if their good enough to get the s4 in the 1st place, and you cant, then they are probably better than you.

Well Blizzard had to come up with something to keep us busy next couple months until WOTLK is out.
Anyway, I dont like the new requirements I will keep on rollin in S3.

Yea I'm really excited about the new season. Started off the season with no s2 gear at all and now i'm full s3 with 4k arena points saved so far. Should be interesting since I'm actually starting the season with some decent gear. 2200 is going to be a pain to get though

I think they should take away requirements altogether and just require the previous season piece aswell as arena points. Eg. S1 required to get S2, and S2 required to get S3.

Meh, not really. Rather than playing x amount of games for points, people will just pay large sums of gold for rating now.
I mean, it will stop the people paying for pvp gear, but not by much.

in fact, imho, all pvp gear should be available through honor, at different cost of course...

I think s4 pr is good and bad. Good for those who already have their teams established but bad for those who don't since they can't get help from better people as much since their will be less team swapping.
But I played 100% of games to like 2100 rating on my 3v3 but all of our personal ratings are lower than the team rating which is retarded.

I think that shoulders should be set @ 2200...it's not that hard to achieve...and shoulders are a big part for all sets...not only for looks but also they generally tend to carry good stats + gem slots...also shoulder slot enchants that are available now require harder-to-obtain items to be viable....

I've heard in season 4, the reason the rating requirement is so high is because there wont be reroll teams (or very few).. people keep their ratings as they are..
Could be completely wrong on this, hearsay... That would be kinda cool though.

What I would like to see is more unique item designs for each class and different designs for both horde and allicance. Everyone looks like a clone these days, and it seems set to get worse.

s4 warrior weapons will be a nice damage increase, some classes (shamans) will be affected more than others (mages)

If resilience is going to be a big deal again, then S4 is just as flawed as all the new gear. There is little diversity in gear not in PVP which I think is a problem. I don't know if Blizz wanted to separate PVE and PVP players more, but resilience just took the control out of the hands of players. Which is weird, cause why have ghetto epics then?

I dunno, I think resilience has been a bit of a failed experiment on Blizzard's part. They doubled the value of stamina in BC and added resilience, which effectively killed Destro Warlocks and the Rogue Backstab ability, among other things.
Despite this though, damage has scaled fast, faster than defensive stats can keep up. You have Rogues running around with Warglaives now, Elemental Shamans and Warriors and other classes with high burst and decent sustained damage, it's becoming level 60 all over again with gib teams dominating in arenas.
Now S4 is going to start and everyone's gonna get shiny new high-damage weapons, and what, gain a handful of resilience and a bit more stamina? It's not scaling evenly, crit based builds have been nerfed, but damage really hasn't.
Hell, I'd argue that it's not so much the addition of resilience that killed Destro Locks, but the fact that they are almost impossible to keep up in an arena match (I acknowledge that a few select teams have had success with destro in arena, usually in a 4 DPS Warlock+Ele Shaman team)

Sorry, there's no edit feature...
Not to mention the fact that there is a hard cap on resilience (will likely be raised in WotLK), but damage can keep scaling higher and higher. Even if Blizzard adjusts the cap, crits are never going to do LESS damage than non-crits, so there's already a cap built in, not to mention it has no affect at all on non-crit damage (except DoTs)

S4 is going to weed out quite a few of the scrubs. People who are bad will get worse with the lack of gear as each season goes on
