How do warriors taunt and such to keep aggro?
From playing newb levels, rage builds up during combat to use abilites..

When grouped for exp, you'll want the warrior to be (one of) the higher level players. The problem is that their abilities and rage bar depends on them landing most of their hits and on holding aggro of multiple mobs (at later levels).
Unlike rogues, they can't spam sinister strike without penalty until it lands. Their taunt is resisted a singnificant portion of the time when the mob is 3+ levels above them (instance bosses). This is no problem as long as your warrior is at least the same level as the instance's boss mobs, because then everything you have to clear on the way will be green. It seems like Blizzard is trying to keep a kind of "chaos factor" in all boss fights and the higher level instances so that the game doesn't turn into EQ (main tank the boss mob, heal AE damage). Unfortunately, in order to give groups a real risk of dying on each pull, they've decided to make the warrior class ineffective at holding aggro on anything more than 2 mobs.
I actually think it's easier for them pre-40 because most pulls are limited to 2-3 elites max. Wailing caverns, shadowfang, RFK, RFD, and scarlet monastery are all very, very easy dungeons to exp through because of this. After you start ZF and Maraudon, you start running into pulls of 4-5 elites and warriors' limitations start to show. The dungeons are still easy and a warrior is still essential to groups, but you have to laugh when the shaman is able to hold aggro much, much easier than the group's warrior.
If you were just asking which skills to use, most of them seem to like sunder armor for the rage:hate ratio.

Have a hunter pet take care of the extra elites. Warrior tank 1, Hunter tank 3, Mage mez 1, problem solved!

Been doing BRD the last few days, and there are endless pulls of 5 mobs. They are rough if someone isn't paying attention, but they certainly are managable pulls. The key to the pulls in WoW is teamwork. Unlike EQ you can't pull 4 and just expect one person (your enchanter obviously) to mez 3 of them. This game takes a bit more awareness on everyones part.

Being a warrior is actually pretty cool for holding aggro.
I'm only 28 atm, however I have 3 ways to grab aggro instantly ... the hard part is keeping it up.
First issue is the rage ... thankfully we have bloodrage which now gives 10rage instantly, allowing for us to open up with out thunder stomp or other aoe move.
second issue for holding aggro are 3 styles.
Warriors get your basic taunt style in the defensive line (handy to have, and can reduce to 8s recast with specialization)
Also get an attack in the offensive line which when hits will cause the monster to focus on you for 6s.
Finally there is AoE taunt which will grab the aggro instantly of all nearby mobs from whoever they're attacking.
Again the tough part is to hold the aggro after the taunts. Since it only ever works when the mob is on someone else, and doesn't generate anything beyond the initial taunt, mobs can easily go backt o mr mage nuking the heck out of them.
There is also a shield move I find casuses them to attack me over everyone else in the defensive line ... that damn shield block or whatever it's called. You can do that abouve once every 4-5seconds,.
Afraid I can't say much for the higher levels, however the idea that a warrior can pull of mobs all at once (haven't had a resist yet /crosses fingers) is kinda cool.
Peace

In defensive strance with taunt ability you can hold aggro easy but only in defensive stance. battle stance is more for soloing and dsp. well dsp untill you get bezerker stance.

Defensive stance. Use Sunder Armor, Demoralizing Shout to hold agro, if a mob gets away from you that's when you use taunt to pull it back onto you. Sunder armor = Key to holding agro in WoW as a Warrior, that and keeping your gear up.

From what i've been reading at WoW Boards, warriosr need some major love with tanking and PvP ability.
Wars are the hardest class to play right now.
Atleast Blizzard acknowledges this and will balance the warrior soon.

This is a sick joke right? Only newbies have a hard time in PvE and PvP with a warrior, the morons who came from EQ and only mash "Taunt". The rest of us who know how to play the class rape in both PvP and PvE.
First thing, stay away from the class boards. They're full of tards.
