I thought it was a great movie, but be warned, it was mis-marketed. It's not an action movie, it's a character study.
It actually got my vote for movie of the year, and would've cleaned house if RoTK hadn't been around. Not complaining, though, I like RoTK alot too.

I used to have trouble finishing any episode of Tom & Jerry cause I was so f*****g tired of that little shit mouse always winning.
Then one day this episode came on where tom got stuck beneath a guillotine and they actually showed a sillouette of it falling in the background while jerry and his friends celebrated. (real episode)
I stopped watching those type of cartoons all together after that.

that episode, alone, explains matt greoning's placement of the "itchy and scratchy" mini-cartoons in the simpsons series.
I knew what cartoon it was portraying, but it seems that episode of tom and jerry explains why.
