Horizons seems to be more in depth and the screenshots look nice as well. Lineage 2 seems to be more adult in some ways but will the game stack up with the graphics.

There will be too many god damn retarded korean kids playing Lineage 2 any way you stack it. Retarded American kids are 100% more tolerable.

To me horizons seems to have a better grasp on the game. Graphics are about = as to Lin 2 is you look at the recent screens.
Your penis says Lin2.
Your gamer part of the brain says Horizons.

have you played both of these, or are you just going by screenshots? IMO, screenshots don't mean shit.

Although SS give you a lil depth into the game, graphics aren't everything
Despite which looks better, whoever has played through these games could probably tell you which was better overall

I play l2 .. its a good game so far .. amer beta will be the test of it though cant do shit as far as quests and npc interaction when its all in korean.
Dungeons are well done, models of both chars and mobs are the best I have seen yet( alot better than horizons), l2 is like anime graphics for characters.. but like anime lite so its not like you have blue hair and robot armor =/.
Oh and Janoth afaik there are gonna be seperate servers for l2 in korea and in america.. cause it was developed side by side where l1 in amer came after it was out in korea for awhile as an after thought.. so you can have annoying amer kids in l2 instead of koreans ;p

Horizons
Dragon playable class. Yes you can fly.
Model looks good whats that in the sky I see?
Lineage 2
Male model
female (yes they do look nice)
Both games have really great graphics.
But its all in the gameplay that matters.

lineage 2 dark elves and elves look so badass though.. judging from the horizons screens the graphics look about equal.. but until you have played a badass dark elf you cant talk shit about l2... polygon count isnt everything anime style shit pwns you all.

At least he has displayed elementary use of a thesaurus, we can give him that at least.
As for your sources, you've read up and talked to people, that's nice, but it's not exactly a credible source.
I can't say much for Horizons, as I don't have access to a beta acct, I'd love one, but what can ya do? Lineage 2 has some of the most extensive attention to detail I've seen so far. MY computer sucks yes, I can't see everything good. However, from what I've seen on friend's comps, the terrain detail is very nice, cracks in the dirt, realistic grass that doesn't lag you to hell, wonderful skies (day and night.) What REALLY stood out in my mind was the attention to model detail. I'm not sure how the hair looks on some higher end cards, but from what I've seen so far, the hair is the worst part of the model. From toying with the models, the run, attack animations between male and female models seems to be accurate. Males attack with a strong, forceful slash/thrust depending on the melee weapon you are using, spells are exact and crisp. Female models attack with a more casual swing, but are still forceful in their own right as a warrior. Spells are cast with a flowing gait. For both races, vocals are added into spells, from the demonic chanting with the Poison Curse spell, to the outburst of what sounds like "Sha-Boo!" when the females cast the Ice/snare spell.
The music is very well laid out, compelling and keeping the interest even tho it's not heard barely at all within the game.
As for lore, not much can be said as to that, as at the moment all of the NPC talk in Lineage 2 is in Korean. But, each town has a shrine in it with NPCs near that each have their own conversations you can go off with. From what looks like to be a Snake bodied Kali outside the Dark Elf City, to a construction of three disembodied flaming heads in the Orc City.
Dungeons seem to be well laid out. Ghost towns out in the wilderness look very nice and imbue a false sense of security. Running up to the towns look like they are just another encampment or outpost in the middle of nowhere, and then you get inside, and realize your surrounded by mobs that want to 'rend you asunder'. Castles are in the world, which I believe are able to be conquered by a race and held as an outpost by a guild or similar alliance called Pledges. Pledges which can be leveled up by the collective efforts of the alliance.
Tactics also seem to well in place in the game. Although I have not personally fought them, exploring around I came across a gnoll camp with a central hut and smaller outlying huts. The person that was there soloing would get a gnoll low on health, and it would run away, not on a preset path as EverQuest had, but actually in the direction of more gnolls that had not been cleared yet, which helped out, and instead of continuing to run, the wounded gnoll turned and helped his new companions.
Not really sure what else to talk about, it's a little bit late... But, you can't judge a book by it's cover, screenshots can be very misleading of the underlying mechanics and story.

very well put | No it isn't. Final Fantasy XI is still the best looking game to ever be released to the SNES.
That's like comparing a f*****g steam engine to solar power. At the time at which it was discovered, it was something to be marveled at.
