What would 5 silver translate to in EQ terms? I don't know anything about the horizons system.
25$ for a starting bid on 5 silver sure seems pretty expensive, especially if silver is a cheap as it is in EQ, D&D and pretty much every other RPG that ever used silver.

I'm a lvl 10 warrior/ 6 blacksmith and total money I've seen on me so far would be about 1200cp
1000 copper = 1 silver
1000 silver = 1 gold
1000 gold = 1 plat
1000 plat = 1 mithril
From what I can tell it's more like DAoC - where getting the higher denominations is pretty tough.

I played beta a few week, got level 24 fighter/14 cleric, I dont do trade skills 
I got up to prolly 20 gold or so.. not sure how much including the equipment I had. Point is, level up for l33t loot.
