A group of monkeys in a zoo could handle a CH rotation, hell a line of drinking birds timed differently to drop could handle it. I had to do it on a druid, so beat that! =p I guarantee your clericing experience wouldn't even come close to matching Kireol's Des. Last but not least, what in the f*****g world is up with people typing "shrug" and "ur" instead of you are. YOU ARE IN COLLEGE, START TYPING LIKE IT! (disregard my sentence in capital letters).

dude no one's healing beats vilahayabusa.. i mean come on now.
this was back in ssra when i had to play a clr for this raid... clenzz/me/cinerg/boilermaker.... BM gates out by accident.. followed by clenzz dying. Just cinerg/me heal order for uh creator or something.
that was fun

for the last time i didnt ever say my cleric expierence was close to kireols, just that ive played one enough to know a cleric rotation, and ash, ive seen plenty of peeps that f**k those up =p

Let me see if I understand you correctly Desaitar. Being able to count to 10, click a button, and repeat this for the entire life of your EQ career is considered fun?
Your post made me laugh......it seems to me what you define as "fun" are the tedious, repetitive nature of EQ mechanics. Sitting in one spot, having people pull mobs at you, and kill that all day long. How can you even say WoW has a lack of models? EQ used like 2 polygons...and maybe had about 4-5 unique models for every zone....

oh please, theres murlocs in half the zones in WoW.
it wasnt the counting to 10 for CH rotation that I found fun, it was working with other clerics setting up rotations and seeing how long you could keep it going without f*****g up /shrug, kinda like hot potato!
and yea, i loved going to velks and spending my time there, learning the zone and people and bettering my character with gear and aa. i also learned tactics to gain fastest exp, when to use mend, what spawns are best to camp etc. met some friends i grouped with a lot, had one of best duos ever with necro friend at US heheh, even the ED guy was jealous and he had a cleric bot =p. i actually felt like i was in a icy dungeon there, id do that ANYDAY over some instanced crap with no strategy AT ALL, its like diablo 2, STATIC STATIC FROZEN ORB TELEPORT FROZEN ORB FROZEN ORB. shit like that a 7 yr old could do, its no fun after just a short while.

If you played WoW with no strategy it was by choice and not design. And if you think deciding cleric order & choosing 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 seconds on a count is strategy, you're sad. There is nothing fun about a CH rotation. There's also nothing fun about emp CC corner except maybe seeing how long you can go without a heal. I remember one time I was tanking Nilasz and Yasiz and my personal goal was to have them both at 100% when we TL'd out while RGCing and Healing myself... that's the closest thing to "strategy" or "fun" I ever had in emp CC. While on paper it may appear to require some level of strategy, in reality it's just really boring. The only class that has an interesting job on most raids is the monk, so I guess it's somewhat understandable that you find WoW disappointing, since there's no monk equivalent whatsoever.
However, I find the reliance in EQ on finding a particular class to do ANYTHING extremely aggravating. In WoW there are fewer classes but the roles have a lot of overlap. I did an instanced dungeon the other day (Van Cleef) and the group was Priest, 2 paladins, Warrior, mage, and we rocked. You can put 5 of any class together in WoW and have a good group. In EQ that's just not the case.

actually, Cellen made me chuckle. While I consider you a nice person since I've met you in RL, your posts are more worthless than anything I've read on the WoW blizzard boards from the fanboy 13 year olds who aren't in beta yet. If you want repetetive model design, try playing FFXI to the high 60's. I'm still loving the game so far even with the somewhat over excessive use of some of the models, but at least they change the model color. What I REALLY want is for them to 1. work on the f*****g druid class (mana efficiency anyone? I go oom in like 3 spells with 2500 mana at level 41) and 2. armor texture, my sleeves look retarded. I will take the cartoony look of this game over EQ2 any day of the week though
