Anyone else playing this? I'm finding it addictive, even tho i am struggling thru the single player campaign.

personally i breezed threw it in like 2 days, got to mission 12 find out the game is broken and its impossible for me to complete this mission even tho every enemy on the map is dead so i returned it to best buy.. lookin at their forums alot of people havin trouble..
game companies need to stop with the f****n game stopping bugs in release, how hard could it be to find when apparently like it affects 30 percent of the people who play.

by what I posted you could asume 70 percent of the people beat it without running into the bug but anyway, some people found it really hard, personally I didnt think it was to bad. I breezed through the missions and its not really as good as the original
mostly its a clone but they took out the ability to set ship formations and added some gay fleet formations that arent nearly as good, I find the ships harder to control and they really dont listen to orders well in some cases. The computer cheaps a ton and i dont like the set up they have now as much as the rock paper scissors one they had before.

IMO the best part of homeworld2 will be mods and custom campaigns.
Three very vanilla capital ships = boring. I want a ships that can be built to either be all offense or all defense...everything is a mix. Build enough missle/torpedo frigs/bombers and you can kill anything pretty fast.

dreadnaughts and battlecruisers rip frigates apart, my main problem is frigates in this are useless especially ion, the only reason to have them is because your limited in how many other ships you can have.
Best part about homeworld 1 is that your fleet could be as big as you wanted and you could have like 120 frigates for the last mission and make a giant ion defense frigite sphere around the mother ship,

It's a fun game a change from the other RTS's but I find the controls a little odd. That's the only problem I have with it.
That and I need a valid CD key.

I've already added Flak turrets to the Hiigarans
Modding existing ships is pretty easy to do. Notepad is all you need.

No, it doesnt modify the original files, and you have to use a commandline to have the modded/added stuff work
