yeah, i've seen kookie stuff like that before, but never on that scale
that guy has talent, and has been prolly doin that stuff for a while
and i'm sure an expensive list of failures as he practiced
keep in mind, that's pure "horsepower and torque" there..they are flying motors, hehe, which is unrealistic compared to real choppers, but i've seen some pretty awesome flying from a real chopper on tactical to practical recently

Wow, freestyle helicoptering.
How does he get it to hang upside down though - why doesn't the rotor just pull it down to the ground? Or can you instantly change the pitch on the helicopter blades to reverse the thrust?

I got dizzy watching it. Neat toy though if you had the money for crash and burns.

Ok, the physics is easy. The top rotor has 4 blades. Each of those blades have a pitch (much like a fan)
The pitch on a heli's blades is adjustable mid flight. This allows it to rise and fall without changing the speed of the rotor. They just flexed it all the way out so that it was pushing the air up as opposed to pulling the air down. then flipped it over.

Totally. I love that channel. It's my favorite channel by far and one of the few I can flip on and actually find whatever's on interesting.
