Lame zergling, you should have taken your time, then you would able to forest/trap in all zones like most folks who didn't zerg. 
I can see this: Newb01 shouts, "Why is there a level 40+ in a newb zone, taking all our kills and drops?"

The ratio of logs and dens to everything else is complete b******t. It took me 3 hours to go from 40-90 in fishing / mining / gathering, abd 6 so far to get to 40-82 forest/trap

then you simply aren't picking the right places - it didn't take me 6 hours to get at least all my harvesting skils up to 120 period

heh, at least once you get to like 90 in trapping and 95 in wood, you can move outside of the newb zones...

There are less logs and dens, because there are typicly only one type of log/den per zone where as there are 2 typs of mining resourses and 3 types of gathering. This causes the natrual progressing of skills to be a faster raise in mining/gathering, so more people get those skills up, and move on to collecting from the next teir, then you have tons of people going back and just trapping/foresting and not collecting the other materials. When nodes respawn it's a random chance to be any type of node, so leaving up the ones you're not harvesting from and just collecting from one type will in the end leave you in a zone compleatly devoid of the resourse you're after.
On the + side if you have been keeping your traping/foresting maxed all along, in the higher level zones where everyone only has their mining/gathering up, they clear out everythign but the foresting/trapping resourses so there are just TONs of those things all over RV/Feertott and EF. Usedto be that way in EL but the trappers finanaly cought up (I blame the manastone) Zek still seems to have a decent amount of well everything cuz no one goes to that zone.

I have T5 everything now but Foresting, still working on last 15 points.
And it got a lot easier when I hit tier 2, Tier 1 was retarded.

Be happy the dropped it down to 20 for T2, back when everyone did it at first it was higher.
