Gates of Discord gets retuned!
Greetings Norrath!
Gates of Discord is being tuned to rework many of the experience areas to better balance the expansion for all classes. It is our hope that this re-tuning will allow for more group diversity and better use of individual class skills while maintaining the challenge of the new content. We hope to roll out these changes within the next 2 weeks. Here's a quick breakdown of what's changed -
* Experience has been increased in several zones.
* Natimbi, Qinimi, Barindu, Riwwi, and Ferubi should be tuned more appropriately for their intended level ranges.
* NPCs will no longer hit for max damage as often. Knights in particular should find it easier to tank mobs they previously had difficulty with.
* Spell drops have been increased.
* Zone travel has been made easier.
* NPC innates have been adjusted to behave a little more reasonably.
* Animals in various zones across Gates have been made non-agro.
Note: Please keep in mind that these changes do not affect every zone.
We would like to thank all of the folks on the Test Server who have been helping with the re-working of the encounters and we hope that you enjoy the changes when they go live in the very near future.

Thank god. Was getting something like 2-3% per kill in KT the other night.

Bet they nerf the shit outta the Tipt and Vxed trials so any tom, d**k, and dipfuck can fly through them. Nice to see they are doing SOMETHING though. Maybe they will fix some of the actual broken shit.

Yay, now travel time will take 30 seconds instead of 15 minutes. Easier travel only hurts GoD even more, in my opinion

With a bit of practice, even sub-par gear'd folks can do Tipt and Vxed. (In fact, Tipt is one of the easier trials, it's even less annoying than the sewers, other than the nonexistant plate bracer drop rate)

I guess they don't know it actually flags them for more zones then. The retard level (aside from the regular tards in the big guilds who still train shit to zone daily like its KC) in KT and beyond has been suprisingly low.
EDIT (afterthought...) But I'm sure thats going to change soon! Hopefully they don't dumb down Uqua too much, need some natural selection in place.

That's true, but 99% of the people I've seen in Kod'Taz are ED/TA/Pak/Numi/SA.

they did it for knights.
Instead of fixing it so knights could tank bigger things, they just toned down the tougher things in particular zones so a knight can be used.
