Additional Rental Charge Settlement
Customer Service at Hollywood Video If you rented movies or games from Hollywood Video, you could get free rentals from a legal settlement. All customers of Hollywood Video who incurred an Additional Rental Charge or Product Charge as of August 10, 2004 are class members and are entitled to receive certificates for free rentals; read the Frequently Asked Questions for further details.
A nationwide settlement has been proposed in a class action lawsuit about additional rental charges at Hollywood Video stores. The settlement will ensure that at least $9,000,000 worth of certificates for free rentals at Hollywood Video stores will be issued and redeemed. The settlement resolves several lawsuits over charges for rentals not returned within the initial rental period at Hollywood Video stores.

I've got one, but Hollywood Video is damn near the bottom of the chain for quality around here. Their stores are nasty, the selection is horrible, and the people are idiots. Only time I'll go there is if I *really* want to rent something and can't find it anywhere else.
Not really a huge deal is it? 6 movie rentals here is a little more than $17.

Middle of the road here, bottom being Blockbuster, and the top being Family Video (small, small chain with amazing deals).

They're like $5 each around here I think. Yay @ Netflix.

Family Video is definitely my favorite, 99 cent movies are awesome. Blockbuster is probably #1 for selection, but then again, it's $4 if you want to rent a new release.
I had Netflix for a couple months, definitely a great service, especially if you are near to a distribution center!
