Lightning take a 3-0 loss to Washington
Canucks get rocked BIG time 6-0
Minnesota looked great against Colorado winning 4-2

we don't need so many threads about an unwatchable sport. keep it in your other hockey thread and edit the title if necesary 
in more important news, the braves are off to one of their worst starts ever. all of their pitching is injured, and this may be the end of the line for their twelve straight division titles. they just signed shane reynolds. i'm sure that will do it for them we'll see what happens

Haha, Barnacle Bob, I read in yesterday's newspaper that Maddux and the Tigers' Mike Maroth are the only 0-3 pitchers in the majors. That's pretty bad company for Maddux, although I've noticed he's lost ALOT of arm these past couple of years. It's over for him.
Anywho... great hockey games last night and every favored team in the west is on pace for an upset. Very interesting!

Triple overtime keeps you on the edge of your seat for half the game.

I'm gonna have to strongly disagree here. I've been to a few Icebats Games and where they are no where near the caliber of the aforementioned teams the energy present at a hockey game is like no other. My hands were literally sore and throbbing from hitting the glass so much =) I didnt realize how bad they hurt till after the adrenaline subsided and I almost got one of the opposing team members to come over the glass at me. He didn't like my bare butt cheeks pressed against the glass when he got checked into it =/ It was fun fun fun =)

Oh, btw... day #3 results are in and Dallas crushed Edmonton 6-1 (that's more like it, this series should pretty much be that way from here on out) and Philly took it to the Leafs 4-1. NJ handled Boston easily 4-2 (no surprise).
Salo got chased out of the Edmonton game after the 5th goal. Like I said, they're in waaay over their heads.

that oilers and stars game was just dang hillarious what was the total penalties called by the end 38 ?? 39 ?? somewhere around there not to mention putting the wrong guy in the box  
what a bloody joke! i cant wait till next game i hope edmonton kicks thier azz, just cause ....
