I viewed it in Firefox just fine, not sure what's going on with yours

The direct link is www.amazon.com . There's a big yellow button with an arrow pointing to the right that will start the trailer. If you do not have current versions of Firefox and Flash Player you should download them and stop calling people dipshits.

figured it out the adblock extension for firefox filters it out so it doesn't show up on the page cool looking trailer much better then the teaser

It was also a series, based on the books, on PBS many years ago (yes, I am old :p)...
Oh, oh...and a game!!!! Text game, around the time that Zork came out...same game company I think..I still have a copy of it somewhere...played it on my Commodore 64 /rawr!

Arthur Dent wakes up one day to find some bulldozers outside his house, apparently they are building a highway through where his house is and it's to be destroyed. While laying in front of the bulldozer to prevent the destruction his friend Ford Prefect comes along and drags him to the pub for a drink and to tell him that the Earth is going to be destroyed. Ford also explains that he is from another world. Just before the Earth is destroyed Ford and Arthur hitch a ride on one of the Vogon Contructor ships and insane goings ons follow.
It is one of the funniest books I have ever read and the only reason I am not overly wary about a good movie happening from them is because Douglas Adams wrote the script before he died.
