Stupid topic, but in my history course I was basically told to write a decent size report on anything that happened in American history from 1900-present. Sad part is I can't seem to find anything to interesting (I really hate broad topics). Gimme some suggestions on some cool stuff that happened in the past centuary ^_^

How about the Teapot Dome scandal in the '20s. You could contrast it with Enron or Haliburton or something like that.

Hehe got to love Warren G Harding.. one of the two worst Presidents ever.
Still got that Vietnam Vet essay you can have.. The reason I wanted to push it via email or icq is because of the fun pictures it has in it. I got a few more Vietnam essays that are kinda fun too. I read parts of an interesting biography of Warren G. Harding which basically said he got a bad rap because of the scandals of his administration, interesting interpretation...
I'd write it on the dropping of the atomic bombs. Always a surefire way to rile a young history teacher up.
