+10 Things you should do before trading

Once again, before you complete the trade we explicitly recommend to:
1st - Read our terms and follow them or report those who breach them!
2nd - Visit our Hall of Shame forum including Scammers and Ban lists
3rd - Visit other relevant Scam and Ban lists
4th - Read frequently RealPoor articles, sticky topics and announcements!
5th - Read posts posted by moderators or administrators!
6th - Do a research - Google this user (his RP username, his email, his IM) and do the same on RP search. Try to google them including keywords scam, scammer, fraud (for example “john doe scammerâ€Â,â€Âjohn doe scamâ€Â,â€Âjohn doe fraudâ€Â,etc.)
7th - Ask for support and help - If you are not sure about this user, PM RealPoor staff or RealPoor Supporters for advice.
8th - If using IM’s such as AOL, Yahoo, MSN Messangers or ICQ, do record your history and print or record the screen/window for evidence.
9th - Read FTC Internet Auctions Guide for Buyers and Sellers and PayPal Buyer protection including buyer complaint policy
10th - Check member’s sold, cancelled or expired trade status (below username). Positive score of sold items increases credibility to this member, and negative score of cancelled trades increases the chance of fraud and decrases user's credibility and reputation. In addition, user’s reputation increases with number of posts or articles. Members with rank Supporter are not the part of the Staff (administrators, moderators) but Supporter's reputation is much higher then by regular users.
11th - DO NOT trust those who're trying to rush into a fast trade, since in most cases they rush because they want complete their dirty job ASAP before they get caught.
