Hey everyone, I was wondering which character would probably sell for the most money. I heard it'd be a shadow priest and then I also heard it'd be a furry warrior. Now I know that a big part of the decision to buy a character is based off of their gear so let's just assume that the character that is the best has very very good gear like all gladiator or something (don't know too much about WoW yet I'm still learning). Thanks for your guys' help.

Its generally based on gear money flying mount / epic flying mount but also the greed of the person who sells it.... some people sells it for high overpriced prices because they think that their efforts put into the account is worth paying for since it rly aint our problem that they have put alot of efforts into the chars

As for what class sells for the most, I'm almost certain that the Blood Elf Paladin currently tops the list, only because the Horde has only 1 option to the Paladin and thats the Blood Elf.
Paladins completely dominate PvE, such as raids/instances. This is why so many people are wanting this class. Think of it this way, if your level 70 as a Blood Elf Paladin, you can almost pick out a guild you want to join, and they will probably accept you.
Supply and Demand.

Now for the highest priced character I have PERSONALLY every seen would be:
Night Elf Warrior, with full Dreadnaught and full Conqueror's gear. He also had Thunderfury and Might of Menethil.
He had the tag "Scarab Lord" which means he rang the gong for the Ahn'Qiraj Opening Ceremony and he recieved the legendary Ahn'Qiraj Bug Mount. Which by far is the Rarest Item in the game, as only one person PER SERVER is able to obtain one, and I believe it is unobtainable now, as the Gates of all been opened.
Went for $1600 on eBay, annonymous buyer.

So what about on a PvP server...aren't most people going to be wanting to buy characters that can do a lot of DPS?

Well PvP Server Characters will always reign supreme, due to the fact that people tend to believe PvE or RP server characters are "carebears".
When I say Paladin dominate PvE, I meant raids/Instances, not that they were primarily on PvE Servers, a PvP Blood Elf Paladin is the most expensive character out on the market, provided it has good gear.

To DPS or Not to DPS?
Well, yes people love doing damage, but honestly? Rogues are overpopulated on any server you go to, fury warriors have been almost tuned out to MS Warriors because of the 2h Tier 1/2/3 Stage Weapons, and Warlocks/Mages are in good supply also.
Yes people will buy warlocks, and if I were to put them on a list for "Demand" they would rank 2nd, under the Blood Elf Paladin. As most people believe warlocks are invincible in combat, which for the most part (affliction) warlocks are. Its tough to beat 2 Instant cast fear's and a 1.5 Second cast.
Yes, people will also buy rogues, which would rank 3 on my list. They top damage meters provided you know how to manage your energy and know the trees.

In conclusion!!!
I still believe Blood Elf Paladin's are currently the most expensive/valuable characters on the market, even if they don't dish out the DPS. Besides what good is a DPS class without a elite healer

Why is it you only say "Blood elf paladin"??? Dreanei shamans are just so expensive since they can out dps any one now when they use DW, if they got the right gear (end game blues) they are overpowered to dps... so i think that they would be one of those that top the price list...
And tbh you cant really tell what class that tops the list. Because people want diffent prices and there is a limit of money that people will willingly accept to use so they also look at that before they make the price.

I would have to agree with DAC, although the Draenei is the only alliance option for shaman, paladins are much more desireable in raids than shaman and perhaps slightly more popular in the arean.

thanks for the help guys but I'm just making sure i got it right...On a PvP server (which is really the only one I care about) and playing Horde, a blood elf paladin would likely be the most valuable character and probably sell for the most? Thanks again everyone.
