Soon my lappy will be freeBSD powered 
Pictures in a little bit.
If any of you have any suggestions as far as things to install after I get it working, or optimization tips; please let me know.
IBM T42p .. 512ram, FireGL T2 graphics.

freeBSD 5.4 RC1
All I have left to get working:
pnp USB mouse
Wireless
Modem (winmodem no hope for this)
speedstepping
FireGL T2 hardware accel
so tomorrow will be a fun day.

Wow 
Thats a cool laptop. It takes a dedicated FreeBSD'er to use it on a laptop.
I am pretty sure all of that stuff is doable, including the Winmodem. They have come a long ways with that stuff.
