To show you how messed up our country is in terms of economics and how bad our deficit is, I would like to see where the best place to live would be in terms of State Sales Tax and how bad these fekkers squander our hard earned money. In California where that b*****d Grey Davis has fekked us all over by running the state into the proverbial shithole, they are proposing to raise our state sales tax from 8.75% to 9.25% to get us out of the fiscal mess that he freaking created. Any places where the standard of living is not like you're breathing cigarette smoke 24/7 yet the taxes are reasonable? I'm thinking of moving in the near future.

New Hampshire has no income tax and no sales tax. High property taxes and not many services though.

Try indiana.. i here you get quite a bit for your money there and it's pretty damn nice in some of the suburbs of indianapolis. I'd recommend michigan too, but you probably wouldn't like it here based on your comments.

Some of those numbers in the quote i posted don't account for local/combined taxes that may add to the rate.
