WinAmp is fine for mpg and avi but WMV, the Microsoft video format, has a lot of trouble in anything other than their own player. Imagine that!

I downloaded about 6 gigs of bukkake pornography in wmv format. Unfortunately, it seems you need some sort of DRM license from "666bukkake" (Tizitchy knows what I'm talking about Cool ) to view the files.

Is there any way around this stupid licensing crap?

Because it changes the assertion of the file type.

You double click on the file and Winamp opens it....

You gotta force something elseto open it, and make sure Winamp doesn't re-assert its claim.

left click the file while holding down the shift key and select "open with" and select the proper program to open the file with at the bottom tick the box that says "always use this program when opening this type of file" click ok.. you're done shaaaaaaazam
