I'm in the market for some new headphones. I currently have 2 pairs of Logitech, but 1 is used only at work and the other has a microphone on it which gets quite annoying when I'm not playing a game.

So - I'm looking to get some really good quality stereo headphones without paying $200+ if anyone has something they could recommend. I'm having frozen pizza for dinner if you were wondering.

Koss makes some good headphones.

My favorite pair are the ones that came with my iPod though, put out some really good sound.

Can't give too much information about them because I lack it, but I picked up these 'Maxell' headphones for about $22.00 at Best Buy they are very comfortable and are pretty good quality for their price.

I got the Sony MDR-V300 and I find them to be very comfortable and decent sound quality. It doesn't drown out too much outside volume so they are still suitable for trash talking at lan parties and such. They are also quite comfortable and light, I wore them for 3-4 days straight(minus food, sleep, etc) at a LAN party and my ears didn't hurt at all.

They were around $40 at best buy I believe.

Sennheiser makes THE best headphones I've ever worn, and have the most accurately reproduced sound imaginable. Extremely comfortable and great noise-reduction technology on some of their higher models.

You can get these:

On eBay for about 60-80 bucks, which is where I bought my pair. It's like a leatherette-wrapped orgasm for each ear.

You can also sell your car and a few limbs and buy these if you wish:

Edit: Here's an auction for you, comes with a 2 year warranty if eBay doesn't tickle your fancy as far as product integrity goes:

<=$100
Sennheiser HD-280
Sony MDR-V6 (not 600), 7506

Both of these are great standalones for listening to mp3s or for portables. They don't need a lot of power to drive them. If you go for better Sennheiser models, like 580 or 600, you need an amp to get the most out of them.

Search around on this forum : http://www.head-fi.org/
It's one of the best forums for audio stuff.

280's are $70 (you have to put it in the shopping cart for the discount) plus processing fee at ecost.
