this program runs off the SBAudigy remote control and does stuff that a remote should do.
In other words.
Install this and uninstall the creative remote program and you no longer have a proprietary remote control program that only works with Creative Mediasource.
For instance:
I installed it and I downloaded some .exe files that directly interact with itunes. I had (with this program) the buttons for play / next / prev launch those .exe files and BAM i have an itunes remote.
You can keep it on the default functionality and it works perfectly with WMP10 .. just an awesome program for all you using a SBaudigy remote to get the remote to actually be useful. im pretty sure the default works with any program as long as its on top / accepting keyboard / remote control commands .. if you use winamp and test out this software lemme know how it works
***NOTE*** you have to install microsoft intellitype before you install this software .. you can get it from the microsoft website .. i put down Internet Keyboard when downloading and installing .. it really doesnt matter .. i use a f*****g apple keyboard and it works fine with intellitype software (including the volume buttons) .. you dont need a microsoft keyboard at all .. in fact i dont think it actually does anything except give you the ability to use the extra buttons on the microsoft keyboards should you install one
really great software .. i recommend 100%
i have it currently working with my Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum perfectly.

what's the point? I mean, really? Does it matter that much? Maybe it's just me, and the fact that my CPU is like less than a foot from my chair..I think my arm can reach it just fine, and my mouse..the one I use in windows, works just fine when I want to listen to any of the media players I have installed.
It works, 100%.

f**k every single driver they give to you with this card. It's an amazing card with a ton of features that's bottlenecked by vastly inferior drivers. I use mine mostly for studio work, and being able to reroute every aspect of my card is beyond useful. The remote features works wonders, and seems more responsive to remote commands. Being able to record in the other room and stop/restart tracks remotely is invaluable.
