it's the united states of america now, not the confederate states of america. The south lost and by flying the flag you are supporting the ideals behind the confederate flag. The confederate ideals were inherently racist and flying the flag is thus racist. And I'd like to point out that the confederate flag was never flown untill the 1960's durring the civil rights movement. It was used as a tool in defiance of civil equality in the 60's nothing else. Anyone who thinks it represents southern pride is a moron.

I'm a racist I have two shirts with Iron Crosses on them. Oh shit I was in a class where there were Iron Crosses on the wall

The saddest part about the Iron Cross is that it was a medal for bravery, valor, and honor. It was very much like our own Medal of Honor. It's amazing how the Nazi's use of the medal perverted the idea behind all Iron Crosses that were awarded.

Regardless, at least a few of those symbols have positive connotations. The swastiska was a symbol for good luck before Hitler used it. There's some evidence that that is why the Nazis chose the symbol in the first place. The same thing goes with the Iron Cross and the Confederate flag. |
