Who is the hardest boss you've ever fought in a video game?
For me it is the final boss of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, it literally took 2 hours to beat him by myself.

That would probably have to be S Club 7 - Never Had A Dream Come True.

They aren't bosses in the sense that you have to defeat them to beat the game, though.
I honestly can't remember the last difficult game boss I encountered. But I don't play video games as much as I used to, and when I did play video games, I was in a dark place in my life which I've mostly blocked out of my memory.

Shin Akuma is a Street Fighter boss in several games. He's fast, has a ridiculous AI and does lots of damage.
Also, Mortal Kombat games have some toguh bosses.
Also, holy shit, this may be the tightest picture I've ever found on the net. Menudo + Silver Spoons = Touchdown Jesus!!

That last boss in Zelda: orcania of time, I ran out of light arrows. In a desperate attempt i began slashing at him. I then relaized that i could hit him in the tail. My whole family was watching my glorious victory.

Umm.. Ultemecia in Final Fantasy VIII was pretty f*****g killer. The ability to wipe out entire stockpiles of spells was pretty crippling. Not to mention her many forms and god-awful hp.

For the first few quicksaves, yes that b*****d was really tough, because of that electro gun crap.
After that though all you had to do was duck behind the pillars and that little wall thing

I'd agree and say those are just god-awful creatures to fight. But since they technically aren't "end" boss mobs I'd have to say...hmmmm some of the crap in FF8. I hate that game but still force myself to sit down and play it so i can finally say I've beaten it (I've been playing on and off for over a year =X ). Some of those bosses have some s****y learning curves and just suck to beat

Good call. I own that game back and forth, but I still always end up at 7 life when I finally kill him.

The overking in Chardok with only Hate armor. G'dam respawn on his guards was intense. Then tanking with the equivelent to cardboard by todays standards, I'm sure.
Servilouse was right up there next to it. AoE fear with no AA points...

New rule: No EQ bosses.
I would have to say the dragon in the 1st dungeon in Zelda. He was tough without the bombs.

you gotta be kidding me. slice. slice. slice. dead.
so lame. if you cant dodge 3 giant glowing balls, you are a retard.
my vote is zelda 2, the shadow guy. if it wasnt for my emulator being able to save and load any time i want i never woulda beat it this time around.
back when i was a kid i think it took me a good week to get him.
