I play D&D, but if I ever "gathered in game stores...to celebrate the 30th anniversary" just shoot me in the left eye.

I was forced to go to a local game store the other day to buy packs of the new Magic set, and they were playing some orchestrated soundtrack of Star Wars music. The employee behind the counter danced up to me when I was ready to make a purchase. After seeing that I was only 48% n**d, he quickly backed down and finished the transaction.

It's always refreshing when I see people who are nerdier than me.

The trick is finding people who are as obsessed over things as you are. Like, a guy I know at work obsesses over Fantasy Football. He and his friends plan out all these games and whatever. To me, it's a lot nerdier than M:TG.

I literally have 6 friends whom I frequently see that play Magic, so it's ok. I don't go to tournaments or whatever, but it's fun.

Also, I love that picture of "Taylor Babcock" reacting to a roll of the dice. What a stupid, dicksucking n**d. The two soda-slurping cretins that come over to my house look just like him.

Finally, see the little kid to the right in that pic? Someone save him now. Throw some football pads on him or something. Just get him away.

I went to some indy computer shop to buy a cheap hard drive the other day, and they were playing orchestrated Final Fantasy music. I went to the counter to purchase my hard drive and I asked "is this Final Fantasy?" and the guy said, "heh yeah, I got it from the FF4 OST." I said, "actually, it's from Final Fantasy 5, and the name of the song is Fate in Haze." He gave me a blank stare.

I later went home and cried myself to sleep after ordering a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.
