How does Guild Wars and dial-up connection sound when they are mentioned together? I have seen the game, and I want to play it so badly. It is very sad that I only have dial-up connection, without any possibility to upgrade it to any form of broadband. Would the game work with this slow connection? It would kill me if it were not possible.

As for any other MMO game, it is the best to have any kind of broadband connection. It is very sad for you not to be able to have faster connection, and because you are stuck on ancient dial-up. Theoretically, Guild Wars should run on dial-up, but it would be very bad experience. MMO need fast connection to swap pieces of information with server. This is done many times though the period of time. On the slow connection, the game would be very nutty, and it would be very choppy. It is better not to play it on dial-up. Wait for the better times, when you will be able to have broadband.
