I'm not trying to be annoying or anything, but… why are the updates for Guild Wars so damn slow to download all the time?! I have a 512 Kb connection, now I know that's not so great, but it suffices, I can play the game OK, but the updates are crawling at about 5-6 Kbs! WTF?

If you're trying to download an update within an hour or so after it's been released, it's no wonder the servers are crowded and you can't get a good dwnld drag. It's the price you pay for playing such a popular game ,you know :P
If that's not it, try disabling your firewall, see if anything improves.
