Guild Wars Favourite necro build?

What's your favorite, and would you suggest it for a starter? I'm gonna start playing a necro soon, and I have never played one before. I was thinking some kind of necro-monk build, but I haven't heard of any good builds in that way. Are there any? Thanks in advance.

Well, depends what role you want to play, as always. I've only had one Ne / Mo , and it was build as a "support wells" necro char. For that, you need something like Blood Magic 12, Healing Prayers 10, and Soul Reaping 8. You use Well of Power and Well of Blood to support your guys from enemy corpses. To shorten the casting time of Wells, get something like bloodstained boots.

What campains do you have?

BTW i don't like that guys build, sounds stupid to me, if your going hard out make sure you have the superior Rune of your primary attribute on the attribute headgear for starters.

The 2 main builds that i use are:

1. Minion Master:
N/Mo
16 Death Magic 13 Soul Reaping + Rest on Healing

Basically all you need is:

1. Animate Flesh Golem
2. Animate Bone Fiend
3. Veratas Sacrafice
4. Blood of the Master
5. Heal Area
6. Deathly Swarm
7. Rotting Flesh
8. Rez Sig



2. 2man 55/SS Necro Build (SS)
N/Me
You need 16 Curses 12 Illusion Magic and rest on Blood..

1. Spiteful Spirit
2. Acane Echo
3. Sympathetic Visage
4. Ancetor's Visage
5. Blood Ritual
6. Reckless Haste
7. Awaken The Blood
8. Rez Sig
