Find a way to change the file date and time of a specific file (say, c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) to Jan 19, 2003.
Do it without opening a dos window or installing any 3rd party programs.
Send screenshots and I'll paypal you $3.50.
Also, no messing with the system clock.

As far as Windows is concerned, the person running Windows is a 3rd party.

Ok, how about using debug.com or .exe to edit the file?

You could share the directory and change it from another computer. that works under all of those conditions. but it's cheap

If you have the Windows 2000 resource kit installed (microsoft developed so not 3rd party)
Run "touch.exe /t 2003 01 19 03 30 45 c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"
It will set the date on that file to 3:30:45 am on jan 19,2003.

Touch is disqualified because it's a command-line tool.
Also it's a UNIX world creation.
