I’ve seen some screenshots of this game and I must admit that it looks awesome. Still, I’m not sure whether Tolkien would be proud with it. Will it be following the story of the books? Will it keep the worlds low magic properties? I think that some features of the Tolkiens world are just not that attractive to most of the MMORPG players and thus the developers may make some changes that will spoil the game for some of us who are already fans of his world.

I think that they have tried to keep most of the important things, even some that might result with the game being less popular. For example, you cannot play an evil character and you can’t be a wizard which is IMHO totally OK. Still, we’ll have to wait a bit more to see what the final product will look like, but as far as I see it, it will be better than most of the other MMORPGs. Still, I could not say something like : Tolkien would/wouldn’t be proud – I didn’t know the guy and I have no idea.
