Guess that time comes in everypersons life where a change is needed and I've finally come to terms with the fact that it's my turn. EQ has always had its good and bad experiences for me and most of the memories I'll take away are going to be great ones. There will be alot of people that are going to be sorely missed, those of you know who you are so I''m not going to go through the trouble of listing every person I've considered a friend. So this is my big goodbye to all the friends I've made and those I've yet to make, may Everquest treat you as well and kindly as it has me.

Did you delete your chars? Cause thats the only way to ensure you will never use them again... If you didnt then you will most likely be back, If you sold then you will most likely steal back, if you DID delete then CONGRATS!!!!
Course you could always buy another account

thats not true. i deleted my characters and didnt play for 8 months. i was over a friends house and his son was playing. it sucked me right back in when he was talking about his new loot and how many aa he had. i went home and got a gm to undelete them for me. but that was back in the days when gm support still somewhat existed

Have a great life outside of EQ. It is a sad day to see one of the best palys leave as well as someone was always an upstanding guy. Be safe and I hope life gives you that you wish my friend. Sad day to see another old timer of the game leave.

Well, with my departure from Everquest I bid my farewells but I think I need to just say some stuff that crossed my mind while reminiscing of my Everquest experiences, both recent and far past.

First off, I've played for a few years and have always enjoyed the interaction between online people, but you people that constantly emote with /hug,/smile,/dance,/kiss,/bounce etc etc... and granted I'm not even talking about the married couples, but the ones that have no f*****g idea who the person on the other end is on a personal level, drove me NUTS. Get a f*****g grip! It's a videogame and yea sure, sometimes it's cute and funny but when I see those people that constantly do it and seem to do it for no other reason than a desperate attempt at attention need to seek professional help.
Secondly, I just have to know. WHAT THE f**k IS UP WITH CHANTERS CHARGING 1000k PLAT TO GET A CAST OF KEI? I'm well aware of the constant demand for the buff and have been one of those unfortunates' that often seek it (thank god for guildmates). But its not the fact of having to pay for it that bothered me(well yea it is), platinum was never an object for me, but just the way that most chanters insisted, no, demanded payment. I mean, it's not like virtue which costs peridots and have an overall platinum deduction on the caster, but kei/tranq/voq only take mana and are reagent free! But Ep, I had to pay like 30k for that spell man, I have to make my money back right? Big f*****g deal! I paid 100k for my first copy of Brells Stalwart Shielding but I'm not gonna go out to the nexus and sit on my ass for 7 hours /ooc x 500 Casting BSS at the south tunnel...come poke the imp and open up with a trade window with no less than 100pp or else I shall ignore you or be forced to stab you irl.
Yea, yea, its a good way to make platinum and why should'nt you make some platinum if you need it, but for christs sake just cast that shit for free one day. Don't take any donations, just cast that shit and give a smile! Always hated to see the progression of EQ go from a game of where people actually helped eachother and gave free buffs in the EC tunnel to an economic market where buffs are now a commodity.
In more recent rants:
Namdrah, good friend. Still and always will own you sir.  Our final duel seemed a bit unfair since you HAD to be buffed and I went totally nekked and that frog only healed me after you switched from epic to that celestial heal 1h'er.
Meeatsu, I owned you in the arena.  Regardless of whether that d*****t chanter tashed you or dispelled you whatever, I kicked your ass either way. hehe
Vashers, not a bad duel, but rangers are always annoying. Still kicked your ass and had like 40m at the end. If it werent for those annoying ring of noobies that I kept losing sight of you in, I would've had you dead alot sooner.
Qaldyin, a good duel. A bit lopsided since i was dawdling in the arena for so long when you had arrived I had allowed all of my self buffs to fade when we started to fight and I have to assume you were buffed. Evenly buffed, full mana to start, I think you would've been dead like the rest. hehe
Encubus, lousy mages. If we weren't in that cramped ass room in a zone with 1/500th less lag than Ssra Temple, not to mention 50 guildmates, I would've won. Run mage run! You have sandwhiches to make! hehe
Still would've loved to have done that guildwar with Enlightened Dark. I was all for that until my time of change, but taking on Iustus or Willis would've been fun. By the sheer fact that they have more innate mana than I do they would've won in a 1 on 1 but it still would've been fun.
My best memory ever on Everquest is still the day I went on my first Naggy raid and randomed on the torn burnt book and won. All the recent stuff like Ralloz Zek, Bertoxx, etc were all fun, but nothing like that first, pure excitement and happiness of that Naggy moment will ever be forgotten.
Hmmm, am I forgetting anything?......
You f*****s that make huge ogres and parked them right on top of my mule in the bazaar can go die in a fire, bastards.
All you fake bastards that have these big long /ooc conversations about how your life is going, and how you have an Aerrin'dar raid to get to need to shut the f**k up and let me be the first to introduce you to the wonderful world of /tells. USE THEM if you're such good friends!
Bazaar Casinos. What can I say about them? Without a doubt the most annoying, spamming pieces of monkey spunk my ignore list has ever had the pleasure of adding. Stop trying to scam, gamble,steal other peoples platinum, just go out there and make it on your own you d*****t!

I had BSS, Valor of Marr, Aura of the Crusader, and Fiery Might on...and you dispelled those within the first 30 seconds on the fight =/ I kept casting Fiery Might throughout most of the fight tho.
