Need a good game controller which I can use to send keystrokes and mouse movements to games. Absolutely must have capacity to remap buttons to whatever keystrokes I want. I' mnot too up on the game pad word so I don't know what options there are.
Ideally something that will allow for smooth mouse+keyboard style 3D gaming.
Intended use is for holding a controller in my hand while I spray my white goo all over the floor with my crotch. Just kidding. I guess.
Intended use is for gaming while using stationary bike or, more likely, a stairstepper / elliptical.
I used to play Dreamcast from the stairstepper, and it was pretty awesome. Would keep my heart rate toggled between 60% and 80% of my max for an hour.
I sit all day: driving, working, playing games. Am thinking an elliptical or stairstepper would require more balance and take a load off my ass.

Logitech Dual Action Gamepad works great and has software that allows you to remap all keys to keyboard and use the analog to emulate mouse axis ect
or you can get something like the Saitek P880 Dual Analog Gamepad For PC
and use the freeware joytokey utilities you can download

logitech does have a wireless controller as well

I used the middle one, it owned. I actually had a friend of mine who was so jealous of it I gave it to him as a birthday present to save money. I kind of regret it, but then again I kind of don't.

I own a Saitek Rumble Pro, and it is very good, and the program that comes with it works great for remapping keys.

I got an Eliminator AfterShock during my brief time playing FFXI, and found it to be amazingly customizable. I used the Axis controllers as seperate forward/back and left/right sticks, and there are enough other buttons and hot-buttons to control pretty much anything. It also has some vibration-settings, but I didn't really get into that.

Do not buy this for any reason.... ever.
Complete and total junk, poor software with s****y calibration, and no durability in the analog controls.
