just buy a real sound system.
Go out and get yourself some decent speakers and a receiver. hook speakers to receiver, hook computer to receiver.
voila.
if you get ncie stuff you can put together an uber sound system.
the packaged subwoofer + 2-4 speakers that you can buy at compusa suck.
save your money and get real stuff.

Or get the Logitech Z-whatever, or some Klipsch.
They're awesome.
