I'm sick of seeing gold farmers and the end result of their "business" all over online worlds. I thought SGO said in advance they'd be handling the issue somehow, what's up with that?
Also, are the rumors about the game developers being involved in all this true? (Since these boards aren't officially sanctioned, we can talk about that here.)

Like I said plenty of times before, keep in mind that the gold reselling sites are not run by amateurs – well, usually not. They've got their assess covered legally, so realistically speaking there is very little SGO can do against them.
And as for conspiracy theories that you mention, I usually have neither the time nor the inclination to deal with them.
