I'm not sure I'm doing this farming thing right. I don't have much experience at it, so maybe I'm missing something obvious, but… well, it turns out I'm losing much, much more than I'm gaining, so I'm seeing negative profits all across the board.
I'm not really getting the hang of it, am I?

And you're not alone in that sentiment Razz
Farming basically sucks, at least in the early stages. You're expected to take a huge percentage loss while your skill improves, and some day – maybe – become profitable.
Expect for the whole gathering – crafting – reselling system to be revised and made more effective by the time the game officially launches.
