GoD group abilities only work for people who have bought GoD

If you buy any Group Leadership abilities, any at all, they will only be active for the people in your group who have also bought GoD. Ha ha. Sony wins again.

Good thing it only took like 2 hours to get 4 points!

At first this seems like a "No duh" post, but consider this: Your PoP AA's work on anyone don't they? Radiant cure on someone in LDoN? Exodus on someone who has never even bought past Velious.

WTG SOE. Way to f*****g go. This feature doesn't surprise me, but the very fact that it does not surprise me really eh... argh. Argh.

Yeah 2 of my bots have GOD so they see my big a*s white circle and mob hp% while the others dont it is kinda annoying:/

There has not been an alt ability whose target, whose recipient, whose benefitting party was invalid because of expansions they had or had not bought. Ever.

Well they did kind do this by making purchased spells in PoP no drop. They also kinda did this by making raids PoP only. If you recall you were able to join a raid but they nerfed it about a week after PoP came out. I see your point regardless.

On a minor note both your examples are player spells and not alt abilities. Your point remains undiminished tho sir. It does suck.

I agree, it is unfortunate.

However, would it be possible? I mean, one of the leadership windows is the health of target's target. Would this be possible to come up for a player who doesn't have the GoD files? I'm not sure. Remember that something like Exodus is simply a instant cast succor spell, no new coding or anything like that.

Who knows, I might be completely off.

The capability is still there. The permissions are not. :-p You can activate GoD for $30 and log in immediately without running the patcher. And... voila! Now you get regen from your groupleader! Whoas. Mad

Anyway instead of b******g here i"m gonna go b***h on the dev boards
