This is probably a stupid question, but how do you get those quests (I mean, who assigns them), and what do you need to do, collect items or what? I'm kind of lost here, and I'd really like to switch to assassin now that I can (I suppose I can, technically). Any help?

Well not an assassin player ATM but anyway IIRC once you hit lvl ten you go to that assassin guy and just ask him to change your job and he should say OK go collect like 20 scorpion tails, and then go collect 20 ropes, and I don’t know what else 20 somethings and when you do that youre an assassin!
