I'd bet we invite the interim president or whatever of Afghanistan though  Just like there is a difference between Afghanistan and the Taliban, there is a difference between Germany and the Nazis.

I think the french should have at least consulted with those whose blood stained the beaches and freed their country before doing that. I wonder how the WWII vets think about that?
One of my best friends is French. his grandfather to this day will not allow anything german in his household because of WWII.
I understand time has heals old wounds but it's not fair to the vets.
