I tend to disagree, but.. whatever.

-Nah-

The primaries pretty much point to Kerry being the best the democrats can offer, unless there is some other secretive method in choosing the democratic presidential nominee.

3 million more people didn't buy it - Democrats broke records with the amount of money they spent on their propaganda machine, so...... People just didn't buy it. You speak of 3 million people like its not alot.

I do think its funny to watch John Kerry now, all the shit he sat and spewed. In 30 years, no one will remember him - the history books will speak of him as a far left wing liberal who proved how easy it is to get purple hearts!

Ok.. see that's what I don't get. I understand Bush won. But when you win with 51% of the vote.. how much of a victory is it? It's not that "people didn't buy it"... it's more like "enough people didn't buy it". You can certainly laugh at someone who lost, but when they lost with 49% of the vote, you can't help but wonder what's really going on there.

-Nah-

Kerry had 48%. It was also the largest turnout in recent history, so Bush won by a record raw vote. It's also pretty impressive considering the relentless propoganda campaign against him from both the news media and private organizations.

Yeah, and Kerry amassed the second highest vote total in history too, so your "record raw vote" still means jack. Bush won by a narrower margin of total votes than in 1992, and 1996, with less votes cast in each of those elections than in this one.

Bush is bad, just Kerry was weaker and Bush's victory speaks for the feeble minded state of the union.

Other than invading Iraq for no reason, what has Bush done the last four years that you think is a good thing? The national debt is at its worst ever, the dollar was at the weakest level .....and still is VERY weak. Osama hasn't been brought down. The US's relationship to the rest of the world has never been so tense. The Euro is taking over as the new international currency(/wave dollar).

Seriously, is it just that you are republican and "have" to like him, or do you really think he has achieved anything big? For the rest of the world, and 48% of the states(thats about 95% of the world) thinks that the US couldnt have found a shittier president. <--didnt do exact math

Are Bush and Kerry the best your country has to offer? f*****g pathetic.

I don't feel like correcting all of your half-truths again but I will touch on this one. The national debt was worse throughout most of the 90s.

http://www.treknation.com/articles/writing_for_star_trek_part_six_how_to_pitch_part_one.shtml

In fact, you'll notice that the public portion of the debt has remained relatively steady for quite some time.

It is an issue that needs to be dealt with but the imminent collapse of the economy that you and Eduin keep heralding is still extremely unlikely . And you're a fool if that prospect makes you happy.

Strangely..you know english, I'll remind you again.
You know our leaders and follow our politics, albeit a s****y, bigotted view.
We don't know shit about you're country's politics, as we don't give a f**k.
We don't speak Norge, as we don't give a f**k.
So if you learn anything from us, the US, don't give a f**k, and kindly STFU, little alcholic troll.

English is an international language. We learned English, not American in school. There is a difference.
Your leaders are in the news everyday. You know how media talks about all the shit that happens, and none of the good things.

There was one democratic candidate who ran that wasn't a complete scumbag; Joe Lieberman. Too bad honesty doesn't get you very far in the primaries, especially the democratic ones.

You mean the part where he said it will eventually collapse. And then Ted Kennedy responded by saying (paraphrasing) "Social Security is going to be ok thru 2047, we can adjust it by raising the retirement age and lowering the benefits"

Yeah thats really fixing social security. Make everyone work longer for less money.

Bush: By 2042, when workers in their mid-20s begin to retire, the system will be bankrupt - unless we act now to save it. (http://www.whitehouse.gov/infocus/social-security/)

That's not true, after 2042, retirees will get 70% of benefits:
Unless changes are made, when you reach age 63 in 2042, benefits for all retirees could be cut by 27 percent and could continue to be reduced every year thereafter. If you lived to be 100 years old in 2079 (which will be more common by then), your scheduled benefits could be reduced by 33 percent from today's scheduled levels (http://www.ssa.gov/qa.htm)

An exaggeration I'll admit, however the Demo's sugar coating how to fix it is just a travesty. SS needs an overhaul to make it more stable for the long term, reducing benefits is a horrible answer
