Wish the price on gas would be like it was in 1990's...

That way, I wouldn't have to drain all my money on gas instead of spending it on a laptop for University >_<

Gas is rising everywhere, the price for a barrel of oil has hit numerous record highs within a few months. The highest gas pricei in the US is around 4.30USD in California.

Yeah, thanks Bush! Now I can spend that tax rebate on gas for the next 5 weeks.

I remember that mad for tv movie on FX about the oil problem. Prices were going up past $5 a gallon, looks like fiction might become reality soon.

Yeah, it's getting pretty bad: but there is seriously no reason for this huge spike in oil. The majority of the price is speculation and people worrying about a sudden drop in supply (which there will not be, as oil reserves will last us numerous more centuries).

Governments need to sit down or even OPEC needs to say "alright, enough is enough: we'll sell oil at X dollars per barrel and that's it". I'm not a economist, but when the price of oil is raging out of control it's time governments and major organizations came together to figure out exactly why this commodity is rising in price so fast.

It might last for centuries...But what happens after that when its all gone? Yeah I agree the prices are extremely high and don't care about anyone in the future as I will be dead by then, But in the future they'll need oil. Who knows whats going to happen, Probably invent something much cleaner and unlimited supply or end up biking?

Someone has accidentally found salt water for fuel but still finding out how to use that in the proper way and smaller machines. We'll have to wait until that does happen.

Oh man, it's 3.65 a gallon (usd) down the street from my house Sad no fun at all, i've been in a touring death metal band for around 8 years now, and we seriously had to cut down touring to like 1 month a year because of how expensive gas has become.

A+ for the presidents war! A+

dude......all prices of everything is going through the roof in many countries and already have in most countries years ago.....right now U.K residents have many problems because the house market has dropped dramatically, people spend more than %10 of thier wage a year just on fuel! and i wouldnt complain about gas prices in Canada.....its the cheapest in the world over there!
