I'm looking into starting schooling next semester for Game Development. I'm particularly interested in the programming field of game making. Was wondering if anyone here knew what classes or credits I should start shooting for, for starters.

There is a game design major at my college but it isn't programming it is more actual game design. Very cool if you want to make the theory behind games.
Most game programming is based on math, physics, etc.. so most comp sci, and software engineering programs will work.

Exactly.
Most people who want to be designers just love to play video games, which is why they fail so often.

I want to be a "Creative Consultant" for a video game company, make 114 thousand dollars a year, drive a beamer and f**k cowboy chicks until they fake multiple orgasms (because they like fancy nights on the town, and I seem like a nice guy).

I forget the name of the place but there's a school in Canada that is (was perhaps) devoted solely to game development classes.
