Anyone know a really good affordable one? Friend was telling me about a Garmin Etrex Legend for $135. I was wondering if anyone really knew anything about them?

Over here, they are heavily advertising Tomtom and something else I cant think of at the moment. Will have to post it later.
Me, I just use mapquest.com , or stop and ask a gas station attendant.
Both are free.

My friend has this hobby called Geocaching, its actually pretty fun. Its a little odd yes, but really a good time if you go out with a buncha friends. We are actually going out tomorrow morning to go.

basicly you use the GPS to find something called a cach. Its usually a tupaware with a log book (to write your username of this website) and some items. They can be found all over the place and actually is a pretty popular hobby.

I got one because traffic in fairfield county CT. is horrific. The tomtom integrates via bluetooth to your cell & gets traffic updates so you can get off the next exit & go back roads.
