I don't get why everybody liked Family Guy so much. I am a sucker for animated shows, even the crappy comedy central ones like Duckman or the Critic, but Family Guy never did anything for me. I have a hard time sitting through an episode without changing the channel. A lot of people love it though.

I used to live in RI and see alot of that shit is sometimes true. But really for me its just the randomness and paraody they add in.

its great i didnt really watch it until it started being on adult swim. Now i love it. I guess you just have to get used to it but it is certainly great.

Family Guy took me awhile to get used to. The episodes are just so scattered, there's no order to them at all. Stuff like Peter making a wise one liner, and then it breaks out into song and dance and different stage etc to expand on that one line. It's hard to keep track of what's going on. Once I got past that, I loved it.

There was one episode where Peter(the Dad, right?) kept stubbing his chin over and over again. He would be walking along and smack his shin against something, and he would just rub it for three to four minutes while saying "oooooh, aaaaah". I don't know why, but that had me in tears.

I didnt like Family Guy until I sat thru it a few times in adult swim myself...I watched the episode where Peter was freakin about y2k and the football headed kid turned into a weird tentacle beast which ate the town who had just destroyed all their guns cuz they didnt need em.

Watching bed wetting liberals get eaten by mutated football head tentacle babies was really satisfying.

Since then I been hooked...

Futurama has always rocked...Groening rhymes with Pwning.

Family Guy is definently coming back. Fox is reconsidering putting the new episodes on its line ups. And Furturama is quite possibly one of the best cartoon shows out there, next to family guy of course.

I love how on Family Guy episodes whenever something is said it goes to a flashback or whatever of that scene.

Same here.

I liked the simpsons, king of the hill, etc., but i never really got into this show.
