The winter games are boring as shit and don't really have anything to do with the ancient greek olympics like he said. But neither does basketball and lots of the other shit in the summer games. But to say they aren't atheletes is just retarded.

i have been stewing on this story ever since i watched this months installment of Real Sports. Did u guys read this anywhere mainstream? Nope. But can u imagine if Bob Costas said he wasnt watching the NBA because the league was as black as a homeless shelter? He woulda been publicly exectued. What a bunch of shit.

ESPN Radio was filled with people saying almost this exact same thing all day. They didn't say homeless shelter, but you get the idea.

Yeah, but why was Dan Patrick only talking about this, now, at least a good week after it was said. Same thing goes for Ozzie Guillen. Some people are annoyed by what he says but others say it is refreshing to hear him speak his mind.
Again, what if say, Joe Torre, or any white coach, writer, or analyst said the same things about minorities that Ozzie Guillen, or even Charles Barkley does about people of any race.
Honestly, I am all for equal opportunity in this country, but things are far from equal, and not on the side that most people think.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying white people complain more, nor am I saying it is fair because it is not.
However look at what has happened recently, a single person or small group of black people say or do something stupid.
Instead of just calling it stupid and moving on, may white people use it as an excuse to either show their true racism or pretend to be racist to stir things up.
So what do you end up with?
Black guy says something stupid,
White guy gets mad, makes racist comment.
Black guy gets mad at white guy for making racist comment
White guy blames black guy for making him be racist because of how some black people act.
Nothing is accomplished.
Again I know this is realpoor and people like to pretend they are all hardcore but I have seen this elsewhere as well.
There is never a reason to be racist.
If a white guy says something stupid or racist I fault that singular guy, I will call him stupid or ignorant but I wont make racist comments about him or his race.
