I was thinking of something to do next labor day weekend. I kind of want to take the Misses-to-be to New Orleans as she has never been. But then I look at upcoming events and this is going on all weekend:

What the f**k? If it's somewhat limited, it might actually be funny to see all the freaks. If it's too big, then it could get annoying really quickly. Anybody here from New Orleans (or who has been there during this freak show) know how big this thing is? Orlando is my #2 choice.

I lived in Orlando for awhile - it kinda sucks. There is a HUGE gay community there also so if you dont like them , dont go =)

I don't care about gays. I live in Atlanta which is second only to San Francisco in terms of gay population (every time I go to my local CostCo I see at least 2 or 3 gay couples). I'd just rather it not be a total gay orgy.

It's HUGE.
Basically Mardi Gras isn't a big enough party for New Orleans so they do this to keep the 24 hour party skills intact.

Where at in Atlanta? I live up 85 north a bit and its pretty norm out there.

Perimeter center. There seems to be more than when I first moved here. They're moving north from Buckhead.
