My roomate woke me up at like 5:30am informing me that some j*****s had broken a window in my jeep and stole my CD/MP3 player and all my Cd's. I think the part that p****s me off the most is that now i gotta buy a new f*****g window and have it tinted to match all the others, not to mention this is the 2nd break in attempt since i moved in. I will be taking my Rockford Fosgate 800a2 amp as well as my 12"HX2 sub they neglected to take out of my jeep. Now i gotta sell em

1) Buy a Sniper rifle
2) Install alarm to Alert only you when a breakin attempt is occuring.
3) When attempt happens, take sniper rifle, splatter said m***********s brains all over your windshield.

What he said, or if you don't wanna get the risk of going to jail... Get a paintball rifle(good one) Hide in a bush put a bunch of shit that he will want to steal in it, wait for him to try to break in pop out and shoot him in the face. Make sure you have a GIANT stock up of paintballs so you an brutaly f**k this a*****e up. Like really. Like break skin on his face and savatauge his balls.

Well, I agree that investing on a huge stereo system for your car is pretty damn lame (one of those penis-length symbols), but thieves who steal that stuff are even worse. What a petty way to get your drug money.
Oh well, I have a quick funny story about this: About 5 years ago a friend of mine went to an anime/comic convention and stole tons (almost literally) of anime soundtracks. He was quite the skilled master that weekend, he easily walked off with a $1,000 worth. Fast-forward a year later... and bam! his car gets broken into and all his precious stolen cds were stolen again by somebody else.
That's karma lol!

I had a $300 cassette player + 2 250watt u.s. Amps and 2 truck box speakers and all my tapes stolen out of my truck about 8 years ago.
its 50/50 shot but worth it if you find out, I found it all and who did it.
the guy got a thumping from me and 2 years in jail for a huge list of warrents ect. the police took pictures of my equipment and gave it all back to me minus the tapes, and the guy had to pay me $1500. after he got out. b*****d still never paid me the $1500. but I really dont care lol.
Try this out if you want to attempt to figure out who did it.
90% of the time its someone you know, if its done localy they know your schedule and know your equipment. it makes it a easy hit.
offer $200 to all the shady people you know of, or come by in the area to let you know if they hear of someone pawning or selling car stereo equipment. (youll be suprised how fast druggies will rat out there friends for that kind of money, thats how I got my tip on who stole mine. and I didnt pay them lol.)
then for the next month scan the pawn shops twice a week, in town and in the local towns surrounding the one it happened in. 90% of the time they will end up there cause its easy money and no hassle cash.
If you see your stuff in the pawn shop like i did, dont say anything, casualy walk out and drive to the nearest phone and call the town police that you reported the theft in, tell them you found your stuff they will tell you what to do next.
(my stuff was in a pawn shop 25 miles from my town.)
the cool factor is that a valid drivers license is needed to sell to the pawn shop, its photo copied for records to protect the shop.
you'll be suprised at how much info you can get snooping around.

What p****s me off is that it costs 10x as much to replace the damn window.
I had a crappy 50 dollar stereo stolen and they took out a 400 dollar window to do it. /sigh.
Course, a 6 year old kid decided to see what a rock would do to my back window a month later (bye $1k!), so that almost made the stereo thieves seem kind.

Cant call the cops :/ dont want them to know where i am. Got a unpaid ticket i need taken care of. I dont drive enuf to pay for insurance either. I live 1.3m from work, i play EQ so i go nowhere else.

Ish, sorry to hear that shit man.
The best thing i can recommend is to get those small cameras. They are a sphere shape and fit in the palm of your hand. I know this cause my next door neiboor(sp) put one up on where you can't really see it. i heard they don't cost much , you should check it out..

That sucks. One of my friends and my sister both had their stereos stolen while they were at work. Both times it was in a good neighborhood but they worked at a restaurant.

We had a thief stealing that stuff out of cars in my school's parking lot IN BROAD f*****g DAYLIGHT .. two years ago i think it was. Anyway, they have a nice camera system up now. I dno't think it's much of a deterant though. The reason it stopped is because they caught the f****r in the act.
Have you ever seen your assistant principle in high-speed pursuit of another car trying to get the license plate number? Yeah, well, neither have I. I was in class while it was happening :(

Really, considering where you live, your best bet if you replace the stereo is removable face or benze box...as to the other stuff you took out, well, maybe you have to suffer like us old people and just have a crappy receiver and that's it :p
Tinted windows, IMO, invite people to wonder just wtf you're hiding.

That's not always true, for the most part if you got 16 inch subs then ya you are most likely playing for others and not yourself but i know people who buy an expensive system but no big subs it sounds great and only you inside the car can hear it (for the most part). Sometimes it all about really good sound inside you car for yourself.

I have to agree with not wanting to hear other people's music, guys...
My digs are on the Hudson River, an there is a nice park catty corner from where I live. On nice days <even not so nice days> I keep a window or three open. Almost every car that goes by is blasting some sort of music, and for the most part, it isn't anything I care to hear. Plus, if I am trying to watch TV, the sound is all but drowned out. Not to mention my windows rattle like hell....
What's almost as bad is sitting at a traffic light with someone next to me blaring some crap while I'm trying to enjoy my own music
