He got the game and installed it and when he tries to run patcher it tells him that the patcher cannot connect to the server at this time and to try again in a few min.
Tech support could not do shit for him because well most tech support people are mindless f***s who don't know shit.
Minus the tech support people who post here. Well some of you.

Get someone to host the files for you?
Go to fileplanet and download the patch from there?
Just a couple suggestions, other than that.... good luck ;p

We never did find out what was wrong with it.
He just reformated and it worked after that.
He is stupid btw for getting EQ2. As of recently all he does is play WoW. Kind of a waste to be playing 2 mmo's.

WoW's a total waste, that game doesn't deserve to exist.
