Not really, but it could be. My neighbor just installed a Linksys 54G wireless router.
He set it up using the defaults. Only problem was his wireless was affecting my wireless network connection, so I had to log into his router, change the channel, etc...
Any other settings that I should change to "optimize" his connection?

ask him to put the router near a window facing your house.

LOL.
I was getting a decent connection. 11mbps to 36mbps.
I'm impressed, his house is easily 200 feet away. Walls and such I'd think would limit the signal.
