Heh yep. Especially for Solaris x86...
And I am not a n**d, I just refuse to use a proprietary operating system that changes back to default my settings and crashes more often then a drunk driver and requires a service pack every 2 days in order to be kept safe from 16 script kiddies..

FreeBSD is the most reliable, stable and consistent OS out there. Lots and lots of things use modified FreeBSD kernels to run on for instance, all nokia checkpoint firewalls (best in the buz), as well as Mac OS is a modified BSD kernel.
Nerds? haha... No, just smart.
