Well... i finally did it.
I organized my famous forum picture collection... and... im making it available to any people who register on my new forum. I plan to theme the new messageboard around these kinds of pictures, and i hope to get some regular users to help create and collect more to expand this collection.
The entire collection is over 2000 pics, and most of it is setup in my easy to use sorted gallery. Sorting and building this gallery was tons of work, so im hoping it's going to be useful. I plan to improve and expand it over the next couple weeks, but the basics are there and ready.
Go to www.compusmack.com, click on the forums, and register.
(yes, you must register to see that forum)
In the "Forum Pics & Photoshopping" forum, there is a post containing the links to my extensive archive.
I'm hoping for some feedback, and any picture contributions on that board would be greatly appreciated. You may link the pictures found on the archive when posting there or here, but please don't post them elsewhere because of bandwidth considerations.

Starman had the sickest special move, that jumping chest thing. The only guy that was better was the blond who did the figure four.

I always won with starman, sorry =/
I think I stoped playing that game when I got to round 60 something and I still hadn't really won anything. It just kept taking more dmg to pin people down.
What was that one boxing game on NES... I forget what it was, but it owned. There was this one game, the only way to beat him was to wait for him to throw a punch, dodge it and hit him in his stomach... damn what was it called... TKO?

I got confirmation right away, yet an hour later my friend tried to register and had to wait 45 minutes. Not really sure what could be up with that.

Well.. I've come to the conclusion that i suck at making actual front web pages for sites. Most of my html experience was a few years back and everything is a bit dated. I usually code html by hand (gasp) so im not able to utilize some of the more advanced techniques in web design easily. Most of my gallery html code is generated through a c++ app i wrote that basically hand codes the html for files in a directory. This is functionally correct, but it could use more style if im gonna make this site more usable. On top of all of that, graphically, im sorta stumped. My talents in photoshop are geared toward the modification/splicing end of graphics as opposed to the creative end.
I need help. I need something that looks somewhat professional and allows me to build onto it easily. If you want to join team, i'm willing to either: toss a few bucks into the mix or make you an admin and part of the team. I'm looking for another admin to help out on my site, and if you are up to the challenge of helping expand content and share in the workload, you'll be given admin status and maybe even server access.
If you want to get involved, pm me with what you can do for me and maybe we can make a deal.
